On the heels of New York's victory for marriage equality Friday was last night's extraordinary Legends Gala fundraiser for NJ marriage equality and anti-bullying. My partner and I once again served as Executive Producers, and a stupendous evening it was attended by almost 800. It was an honor and thrill to have Lady Gaga's mom present an award to the seven courageous bullied teens honored for their bravery as they helped to bring the NJ Anti-Bullying act to legislature and signed by the governor. And the Lady herself ... Lady Gaga...making a surprise phone call live from Japan during the presentation to an awestruck cheering crowd. Thanks to the phenomenal talent from Broadway and beyond that entertained and to all GSE team and volunteers for their time and efforts in making this event the success it was.
